VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT DONATING SUPPLIES! Many organizations are in need of donations of new, unexpired diabetes supplies to redistribute them to those in need. Please do not send expired items as they cannot be used. Some places only accept unopened items so contact the organization before sending your donation. Federal law (and most states, too) prohibit the re-distribution of EXPIRED or blood- contaminated (used meters and lancets) medical items. Please do not send used meters and lancets or expired medical items to charitable organizations. EXPIRED ITEMS must be thrown away and are not tax-deductible as they have no value.

Information supplied by this organization - This is a new program run by a pharmacist in Wyoming. We work closely with the Cheyenne Community Clinic. Our pharmacy provides prescriptions to the un/underinsured residents of Wyoming through our medication donation program. We can accept all diabetes supplies, syringes, prescription medications, and non-prescription medications if they are not expired and are in a sealed container or blister package. If we cannot use the medication, we make sure that some of the other agencies in town get it to give to their clients. By the end of the year we will have a site on the Wyoming Department of Health website. We do not provide tax reciepts for donations at this time. |
