Insulin Pump Support Groups
Pump-Planet.com lists over 1,000 face-to-face support groups for insulin pumpers throughout the United States.

Last year IOH contributed $1,000 to the JDRF (Walk for the Cure) and over $1,500 to IPump.org who used the money to help others who could not afford their diabetes supplies.  And IOH only open its web doors in late September 2005!  We believe, with your help, that we can help hundreds more people this year.

How can we afford to do this?  (With your support and lots of help from IOH volunteers who aren't afraid to stay up all night working for free to help other people)

Affiliate Companies

Affiliates companies are wonderful folks!  For each sale through our site they give a sales commission to IOH, who then in turn, donates 50% to diabetes causes.  This is (currently) the main source of income for Islets of Hope (underwriter for IPump.org.)   PLEASE shop through our site -- you will be helping others who cannot afford diabetes care supplies and insulin pumps on their own.

We have listings for hundreds of quality companies (Amazon, Wal-Mart, The Shaper Image, Office Depot, Nutrisystem, American Express, and 100s more!  You will see their ads on many of our web pages.  If one of them has a product or service you are considering please shop through our site.  If you go directly to the company on your own there is no commission.

Affiliates offer travel services, cell phone, computer, toys, clothing, shoes, fitness, books, magazines, crystal, medical supplies ... you name it and we have an affiliate for you.

What are the icons for?

We use icons to offer more identifying information about a business.  A business without an icon may have requested they not be identified (i.e. a person with diabetes may not necessarily want their business listed as diabetes-owned), or we may simply not have enough specific information about a business to place an icon (i.e. a business may donate money to causes, but did not tell us).

Business that supports IOH through paid or at-cost advertising rates

Business that donates a portion of each sale to charitable diabetes causes

Business is owned by a person living with diabetes  (any form of type 1 or type 2)

Business receives a thumbs up for favorable reviews as reported by customers (please note, NOT having a check simply means no one has taken the time to write and praise the business yet)
