Search IOH Members Directory for A Business

Who are Islets of Hope Members?

Members listed in our directory have either qualified for free, at-cost, or, have paid for advertising on our site.  We have strict rules about the kind of companies that can list with us (see Advertising Rules).

Report Businesses You Have Problems With

If you have trouble with any company listed on our website, or in the Members Directory please contact us at Suggestions@IsletsofHope.com.  We like to consider ourselves a Diabetes Watchdog and ANY company that takes advantage of persons with diabetes, well, we like to hear about those folks (they might even end up on our Snake Oil company list).

We Try to Keep Tabs on our Members (because they are busy people too)

We try to keep company information accurate, with up-to-date links and contact information.  Sometimes, a business forgets to update their listing with us.  For this reason all our advertisers are required to join the Members Announcement list.  Once each month, we send out an e-mail to all our Members reminding them to keep their 411 current.  If an e-mail address bounces back, or, their ad links no longer work, we remove their listing.

You can help keep our directory current by reporting dead links, unresponsive companies, and problems to us at Suggestions@IsletsofHope.com.

What are the icons for?

We use icons to offer more identifying information about a business.  A business without an icon may have requested they not be identified (i.e. a person with diabetes may not necessarily want their business listed as diabetes-owned), or we may simply not have enough specific information about a business to place an icon (i.e. a business may donate money to causes, but did not tell us).

Business that supports IOH through paid or at-cost advertising rates

Business that donates a portion of each sale to charitable diabetes causes

Business is owned by a person living with diabetes or disorder associated with diabetes (i.e., pre-diabetes)

Business receives a thumbs up for favorable reviews as reported by customers (please note, NOT having a check simply means no one has taken the time to write and praise the business yet)
