10 Keys to Helping Your Child with Diabetes  Tim Wysocki   The Ten Keys to Helping Your Child With Diabetes
This second edition explores the wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological issues that affect diabetic children and helps parents deal with them. New to this edition are topics such as children living with type 2 diabetes and the special needs of children using an insulin pump.  Wysocki, Ph.D. is the chief of the division of psychology and psychiatry at Nemours Children’s Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Important disclaimer:  The following are states listing(s) for schools, school districts, and day care institutions that have received positive rating from parents of children with diabetes.  Islets of Hope does not endorse or recommend any school, it simply relays information as reported to us by other who claim to have had a positive experience in their school.

If you are considering enrolling your child into a school on this list, we suggest that you contact the school yourself. Each family's experience is unique and may not be a fair representation of any school.
