Durable Medical Equipment Coverage The state laws of Illinois require certain supplies (blood glucose monitors, cartridges, and lancets and lancing devices) to be covered only if the insurance policy offers durable medical equipment benefits coverage (these items are not required to be covered under regular prescription drug benefits).
