Office The Resource Mothers Project works with at-risk pregnant women, helping them to obtain early prenatal care and other social services. The Resource Mothers act as mentors and are on-call to their clients 24 hours a day for emergencies. They stay involved through the babies' first year to make sure they receive proper immunizations and have a medical home. Direct services include, but are not limited to, education, transportation, and case management. They also have Bilingual Resource Mothers across the state to serve Spanish-speaking women and their families by translating and helping them overcome other cultural barriers they face. Services: Childbirth and parenting classes; Help with scheduling appointments; Help with transportation to appointments; Nutrition counseling; Special Services to substance referrals; WIC and Social service referrals; School programs; and Follow-up phone calls and letters.

St. Francis Family Practice provides a hospital-based family health practice, including obstetric and newborn care through Tiny Steps, a program for low-income pregnant women, staffed by resident doctors providing health screening, diagnosis, and treatment to patients of all ages. The St. Clare Outreach Program is a mobile van staffed by a doctor, a registered nurse and one assistant that travels to different locations in Wilmington to serve the homeless and others in need. The Center of Hope, a family health center in Newark, offers health care to migrant workers. The Tiny Steps program is also offered at the Newark location.
