IOH Diabetes Support and Information

Why care about Islets of Hope?
Because we care about others.

Last year IOH's own Miracle Four raised $1,000 for the JDRF (Walk for the Cure), and IOH gave generously to IPump.org (actually, we did not keep a single penny last year!).

Because of IOH, people in West Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and California received diabetes medical supplies and books on diabetes care. Not bad, since we only opened our web doors in September of 2005 -- but not nearly enough.

There are many in this country who either cannot afford insulin or worse, take insulin without testing because they cannot afford testing supplies. We believe, that with your support, we can help hundreds more people this year.

How can we afford to do this? (With your support and lots of help from IOH volunteers who aren't afraid to stay up all night working for free to help other people)

Affiliate Companies

Affiliates companies are wonderful folks! For most sales through our site they give a sales commission to IOH, who then in turn, donates 50% to diabetes causes. This is (currently) the main source of income for Islets of Hope. PLEASE shop through our site -- you will be helping others and getting great deals at the same time.

We only work with quality companies (Amazon, Wal-Mart, The Shaper Image, Office Depot, Nutrisystem, American Express, and many more) that meet our high standards. We tried using Google ads (we really do love Google ... but ... many of the companies that advertise via their program were hawking "cure diabetes" potions and notions. Unable to filter these ads out, IOH opted to remove them completely even though it eliminated source of income for us (but hey, we have to live with ourselves).

You will see our new affiliate program ads on most of our web pages. If a company has a product or service you are considering please shop through our site. If you go directly to the company on your own there is no commission for us.

Please look for affiliate products throughout or website. It is by their generousity ... and yours ... that we are able to help others in need with diabetes supplies, information, and support.
